Historical Reference Library for Bay Shore
The Historical Reference Library was established by Priscilla Hancock in 1994 in an empty room in the basement of the Society's Gibson-Mack-Holt House. Since it was founded, Items which were donated by the community have made the Library double in size.
The archives include maps, photographs, yearbooks, journals, ledgers, books by Bay Shore authors, albums of "Treasured Memories", artifacts and memorabelia pertaining to Bay Shore.
Materials from the Library are used in historical exhibits at the Gibson-Mack-Holt House and in the community.
