Donations of materials concerning Bay Shore or Brightwaters history are always welcome additions to the archives of the Bay Shore Historical Society. Items may also be loaned to the Society and will be scanned and returned. Items of interest to the Society include: photographs, newspaper articles or advertisements, ledgers, books authored by Bay Shore residents or about Bay Shore history, yearbooks, memoires and much more.
As we build the archives to be used for future generations, current items that document a significant event or accomplishment of Bay Shore residents (past and current) may also be donated .
Donations of items for sale in the 1820's Shoppe may include collectable items (new or lightly used) in good condition. Popular items include china, silverware, costume jewelry and other collectable items.
Monetary Donations are always welcome and are used for the maintenance of the c.1820's Gibson-Mack-Hole House. Monetary donations may be mailed to the Society using this form. Donations of historic materials and items for sale in the 1820's Shoppe are accepted at the Bay Shore Historical Society's Gibson-Mack-Holt House during Society hours.
